    Lakota West Cross Country Season Kick-Off Camp

    What: An overnight Camp for athletes to start the new season and build team unity.
    When: Girls – August 6th & 7th & Boys – August 7th & 8th
    Where: The Back Forty Campground – Rushylvania, Ohio
    Cost: $175.00

    Minimum: We have to have at least 30 athletes registered by July 12th or we will not have the camp.

    Details: Athletes will be staying at the Back Forty Campground in a large Open Bay Building. Each athlete will be sleeping on air mattresses (You may bring your own cot etc.). Athletes will be required to bring their own bedding.

    Timeline:
    Monday
    August 6th – Girls – Leave Lakota West by bus at 8:00 AM and arrive at the Back Forty Campground at 10:00 AM. Girls will spend Monday at the Back Forty and the surrounding countryside. Lunch and dinner will be provided.

    Tuesday
    August 7th – Boys – Leave Lakota West by bus at 8:00 AM and arrive at the Back Forty Campground at 10:00 AM. Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be provided for the girls and lunch and dinner will be provided for the boys. Once the boys arrive, both groups will depart for Indian Lake and participate in the Team Triathlon at Indian Lake. This will be similar to years past. After the Triathlon, both groups will come back to the Back forty for dinner. After dinner, the girls will depart the campground at 7:00 PM and arrive back at Lakota West at 9:00 PM.

    Wednesday
    August 8th – Boys will spend the day at the Back Forty Campground and the surrounding countryside. Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be provided. At 7:00 PM, boys will depart the campground at 7:00 PM and arrive back at Lakota West at 9:00 PM.

    During the camp, all athletes will be running at least twice each day, participating in various games, activities, and attending informational sessions for training and motivation.
