Samuel Howard
Senior, Boys Lacrosse
Samuel led the Firebirds in goals scored this week as they played Fairfield, Sycamore, and Kings. From his attacking midfield position, Howard netted 12 goals, with a team-high of five in West’s two-goal (12-10) victory over Kings on Friday. His 12 goals for the week accounted for 30% of the team total.
Alyssa Triner
Senior, Softball
Alyssa played the hot corner in four games total last week facing some of the top teams in Ohio including Lakota East now at 12-0, and Keystone LaGrange currently on a 48 game win streak. In the course of the week, she produced 10 runs batted in catapulting her into the Greater Miami Conference RBI lead. She also hit 2 home runs, one each against Oak Hills and Floyd Central, Kentucky.
