West Cross Country has strong showing at the East Classic!

Saturday, the Lakota West boys and girls cross country teams competed at the East classic at VOA park. Evelyn Prodoehl led the way for the girl’s team, which won by a sizable margin. Evelyn’s time of 17:57 bested the field by over a minute. Lauren Mang, Kaitlyn Kaszubski, Ava Shepherd, and Alyese Caldwell Downing rounded out the scoring for Lakota West. On the boy’s side, the boys saw a significant improvement from last week as five boys finished under 18 minutes. Ryan Johnson led the way with a time of 17:15. Michael Schumacher and Braydwn Rice finished second and third.
