    The Varsity Wrestling Team Places Second at Ron Masanek!

    The varsity and junior varsity wrestling teams took to the mat over the weekend and started the new year off in grand fashion. 
    The JV squad competed at the Valley View Varsity Invitational and finished in 7th place in the 15-team field. The group was led by Chase Riggle (5th), Philip Lee (5th), Nathan Mobley (4th), Ujal Tamang (4th), Henry Lee (3rd), Zander Knollman (3rd), and Sam Lindley (2nd). The JV team is back in action at home on Wednesday against Ross and Princeton, then travel to Moeller on Saturday to take on Moeller, Colerain, Middletown, and Taylor HS.

    The varsity team competed at the 50th annual Ron Masanek Invitational held at Fairfield HS. The team battled all weekend and finished 2nd place out of 21 teams. Congrats to the following placers: Micah Reynolds (6th), Nick Harris (5th), Cooper Skelton (5th), Will Allen (3rd), Cory Whatley (3rd), Matthew Szczepaniak (2nd), Josh Allen (2nd) and Vaughn Nguyen (1st). The team looks to keep their winning ways this Wednesday as they also take on Ross and Princeton. Wrestling starts at 5:30 pm.
