Evelyn finished first at the OHSAA preseason invitational with 17 minutes and 29 seconds. Besting the field by 32 seconds, she ran even better this week, winning the Lakota East classic with a time of 17 minutes and 22 seconds.  This is the fastest girls time in the history of the VOA coarse eclipsing the time posted in last years GMC championship race by eight seconds. It was also the fastest Lakota West girls time over the VOA coarse toping the mark of 17:46 set by Amanda Burger.  This record had stood since 2006.

Michael Schumacher

Junior, XC
Michael finished first for the Firebirds in his first two meets. This week, he ran a 17:06, finishing seventh overall at the Lakota East Classic. Michael is running into top form again!
