LW Girls Golf: West places 2nd at GMC Championship, and Treherne Breaks School Record!

Lakota West took 2nd at GMC this week (647) at Waldon Ponds. Par 72.  See full tournament results at gmcsports.com.  West finished ahead of Lakota East  winning the girls golf point in the annual East/West All-Sports Challenge Trophy race.

Paige Treherne had the tournament’s third best individual score with a four under par 70+70 = 140.  New school record!  This broke the previous Lakota West 36 hole record of 74+70= 144 which had stood for fourteen years after being set by Kari Hogeback in the 2009 GMC tournament.
