Roman was outstanding in a dominant 61–39 victory over the Oak Hills Highlanders, turning in an all-around performance on both ends of the court. In 24 minutes, Combs was flawless offensively, going 5-for-5 from the field and 1-for-1 from three to score 14 points. He controlled the game with 6 assists, pulled down 6 rebounds, and set the tone defensively with 4 steals. Combs’ efficiency, energy, and playmaking were key in powering the decisive win.
Jordan Beimesche
Junior, Bowling
Jordan rose to the moment in the rivalry matchup, helping lead the Firebirds to a big win over crosstown rival Lakota East. After opening with a 130 in game one, Beimesche delivered her best performance of the season in game two, rolling a season-high 194. She finished the day with a 324 series and a 162 average, providing a key spark on the lanes as the Firebirds topped the Thunderhawks in an exciting crosstown showdown.
