    Contact Coach Lampe:

Nicki Lampe became the new Lakota West head coach entering the 2018 season but she was not new to coaching nor to Lakota West.  She finished her first season with a 4th place finish in the always tough GMC conference guiding her team to a winning 7-6 record.  This year she returns her entire top 3 singles players from the 2018 roster and is looking forward to the teams improvement.

Lampe’s first coaching assignment was the head coaching position at Thomas More college for both the 2007 and 2008 seasons. Her first high school assignment came a year later when she was the head coach at Taylor high school.

She came to Lakota West as a Special Education teacher in 2009, a position she still holds today but embarked on a long hiatus from coaching. A true Firebird she has since followed all the schools sports and has served for several seasons as an official basketball scorekeeper.

Lampe’s first foray into competitive tennis came as a multi-year varsity letter winner at Oak Hills high school graduating in 1999. For the next four seasons, she competed on the Mt. St. Josephs University intercollegiate team, graduating from there in 2003.

Still an active participant in the game she continues to play at the Eastern Hills Indoor Tennis Club.
